  • Service: Connect for Health - School Nursing Service
  • Location: Warwickshire
  • Salary: £25,503 - £29,938
  • Type: Full time (37 hours)
  • Ref: 025/22

We are looking for a committed marketing and communications professional able to use their written and digital skills to publicise and support our work with children, young people and families across Warwickshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your talents in a service and organisation which has integrity, valuing others, solution focus and consistency as its ethos.

About us

Connect for Health is a school nurse-led service that supports children and young people aged 5-19, or up to 25 for those with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as their parents/carers. We deliver key elements of the government’s Healthy Child programme, working to identify and meet health and wellbeing needs and give individuals the best possible start in life. We are committed to support happy, healthy lifestyles for families.

The opportunity

The role combines old fashioned verbal and written communications skills with cutting edge digital marketing know-how. It is to develop and distribute content, including news stories and marketing collateral, that promotes who we are and what we do.

It involves building on our recent service rebrand to ensure all schools and families are aware of the support we provide. Also, expanding our digital presence and the accessibility of digital resources. We see this role as central to our mission.

The person

We’re seeking a highly motivated marketing and digital communications allrounder, full of ideas, who wants to use their multimedia talents to improve other people’s lives. We need a proven performer to prepare, produce and promote our public health campaigns and initiatives.

It’s a busy, varied, exciting and truly inspiring role which requires project management skills, high standards and team work. You’ll see the work you do have a direct, positive impact on the health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families in Warwickshire.

The Benefits

In return, we offer a range of benefits including:

  • Generous annual leave
  • A competitive salary
  • Working within an inclusive, friendly and valued workforce
  • Excellent learning & professional development opportunities
  • Generous Compass Contributory Pension Scheme
  • Life assurance package
  • Employee assistance programme and occupational health service

We welcome informal conversations about the role. Please contact Helen Rogers on 03300 245 204.

Closing date: Sunday 22 May

Interview date: Monday 30 May
