Promising career ahead for C4H Marketing Apprentice

Published on: March 23, 2023

A Marketing Apprentice at Compass has got a prestigious new job at the end of her training.

Ella Waldock-Stanford trained at Connect for Health School Nursing service under a Compass and Warwickshire College Group partnership.

She’s now going to be a marketing and social media manager with a Rugby-based construction firm.

Ella said: “The support I have received during my time with Compass will never be forgotten. I have learnt so much during my apprenticeship with Connect for Health (C4H) and I now feel ready to start a new journey in my career.

“My experience with C4H branding has allowed me to begin setting up brand guidelines for my new company. There’s a lot of work to be done and I feel very grateful to have had such a supportive start to my career, which is reflected in my confidence and capability in my new job.”

Ella is the third successful Apprentice to complete their training under the Compass and Warwickshire College Group partnership.

During the apprenticeships, Compass’ line managers liaise with college tutors to discuss how they can support the apprentices in meeting assessment criteria. The college also supports apprentices with regular check-in meetings, master classes and revision sessions.

The Level 3 Marketing apprenticeship covered a wide range of topics, which contribute to professional development and preparing apprentices for future employment.

Team Leader Helen Rogers, who line managed Ella, said: “Ella showed an enormous amount of dedication during her apprenticeship. The work she produced was always of the highest standard, ensuring she went above and beyond to complete any task set to her.

“I couldn’t be prouder of her for getting such a fantastic job!”

In her final project, Ella had to demonstrate key activities, such as paid promotion, consulting with external suppliers to produce printed materials and data analysis. Ella passed her apprenticeship with a Merit.

C4H Service Manager, Karen Cornick said: “I am pleased to say we have another wonderful success story because of our Apprenticeship Programme. Ella’s digital marketing apprenticeship placement with C4H has been a wonderful success story and I’m very confident that she will have a fantastic career in marketing”.

And Karen added: “Everyone at Connect for Health is grateful for all of her hard work during her time with the service.”
