Emotional Wellbeing Support Drop-in service launched in North East Lincolnshire

Published on: August 9, 2022

Compass GO… in North East Lincolnshire have set up a series of support drop-ins to offer emotional wellbeing support to parents/carers who need support with their children for Anxiety, low mood, Emotional regulation and common challenging behaviours.

The sessions have been set up and run by Yvonne, the family practitioner at Compass GO…who has a wealth of experience working and supporting children and their wellbeing. Yvonne has a degree in Psychology and counselling and has worked with Children’s services for over 11 years before working with Healthy Minds Lincolnshire to work with young people’s emotional wellbeing, and then joining the team at Compass GO…

Yvonne said “I realised that some of the parents of the young people I was supporting also needed support to enable them to help their own young people, which is why Compass GO introduced this invaluable service.

“I feel very passionate about the whole family holistic approach, and feel that my experiences of being a parent of 4 children and nanny to 12 grandchildren, combined with my professional experience will enable me to provide quality support to the families in North East Lincolnshire.

“The drop-in is a safe place to come along for a natter, relax and ask any questions that you may have as well as finding out more about any additional support that our service can offer parents/carers”

Pop down to see Yvonne at Freeman Street Market, Grimsby between 9am – 3.30pm on the dates listed below.

Everyone is welcome.
