Training Officer

We are looking for someone who has the ability to inspire as well as inform in their role with us as a Training Officer in the sphere of Health & Wellbeing.

The Training Officer Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced trainer to make a real difference to the health and wellbeing of both children and adults.

You will be delivering training modules on health and wellbeing to professionals across three of our major project areas: the Department for Education, transport operators in London and private sector customers. The ability to innovate and be flexible is a must as new projects are developed and implemented.

Compass Positive Effect is the trading arm of our national charity and we are passionate about spreading best practice which has a positive effect on people’s lives, young and older!  

You’ll be part of a hard-working, close-knit team of seasoned professionals who know they’re using their first-class skills to make a real time difference to the lives of some of the most vulnerable in our society.

About us

Positive Effect provides practical and effective health and wellbeing consultation, solutions and training.

We train and advise public and private sector organisations so they can run their own effective, preventative workplace or organisational wellbeing initiatives. It’s very rewarding!

The vision is to improve people’s mental wellbeing by reaching them through school or work. All surplus is used for charitable purpose, to support the health and wellbeing of the wider community.

The person

You should be passionate about improving the health and wellbeing of the population and supporting organisations to improve health outcomes. You will be skilled in engaging delegates and customers via training, coaching, consultancy and practical solutions. You will also ideally have direct experience of working and training in mental health and wellbeing.

You will be willing and able to travel across the country, ideally having a full driving licence and access to your own transport.

About the Training Officer role

As Training Officer your key objectives include:

  • Leading the delivery of Compass Positive Effect training; both face to face and online
  • Supporting the development and finalisation of training modules and packages for the public and private sector
  • Helping to develop the Compass Positive Effect brand across different channels
  • Supporting the Compass Positive Effect Business Development Manager
  • Leading customer audits and consultancy
