The opportunity

We are seeking to recruit registered staff nurses who want to make a difference to the lives of children, young people and their families across Warwickshire by helping us deliver an innovative School Health and Wellbeing Service.

About us

The School Health & Wellbeing Service is a high quality, visible, accessible and confidential outcome focussed service that improves the health and wellbeing of children and reduces health inequalities for school aged children and young people in Warwickshire.

About the role

You will be based out of one of our Warwickshire hubs (Stratford, Rugby, or Caldecote) and you will work from a number of age appropriate settings – schools, partner agencies, community and homes, working flexibly and creatively to best engage and meet the diverse health needs of those you serve.

As part of your role you will be required to carry out a range of assessments, psychosocial brief interventions, thematic drop ins, proactive public health initiatives and work both independently and as part of a multi agency team around the family. Safeguarding will be an integral aspect of the role.

The person

You will be required to have experience of managing a caseload, undertaking risk assessments, providing holistic care and delivering a range of health interventions to individuals on either a 1:1 or group basis.

You must possess a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.
