The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and solution-focused NMC registered Nurse to join our Warwickshire School Health & Wellbeing Service.

About us

Compass Warwickshire School Health & Wellbeing Service delivers key elements of the universal Healthy Child Programme to school-aged children (aged 5-19, or up to 25 with SEND) and their families. It is an accessible and confidential outcome-focused service that is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Warwickshire. 

About the role

You will be based out of our Stratford hub and you will work from a number of age appropriate settings – schools, partner agencies, community and homes, working flexibly and creatively to best engage and meet the diverse health needs of those you serve.

As part of your role, you will be required to carry out a range of assessments, psychosocial brief interventions, thematic drop ins and proactive public health initiatives. You will work both independently and as part of a multi agency team around the family and safeguarding will be an integral aspect of the role.

Working hours are Mon – Fri, 37 hours per week with some early evening and weekend working if required to meet service need.   

The person

You will have experience of managing a caseload, undertaking risk assessments, providing holistic care and delivering a range of health interventions to individuals on either a 1:1 or group basis.

You must possess a full driving licence and have access to your own transport.
