The Opportunity

We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to lead one of our school health and wellbeing teams in Warwickshire. As a management team we are committed to supporting our team in their professional development.

The Role

As a School Nurse Team Leader, you will lead and manage staff within a geographical area/cluster to deliver positive outcomes to children, young people and families. You will be required to line manage staff within a skill mix team who collectively will deliver a range of assessments, brief interventions and proactive public health initiatives, working both independently and as part of a multi-agency team around the family.

You will provide professional leadership, management and teaching to skill mix teams to enable the efficient, effective and safe delivery of the School Health and Wellbeing Service.

This is an all year-round contract and working hours are Mon – Fri, 37 hours per week with some early evening and weekend working if required to meet the needs of the service.

The Person

You will be a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN – School Nursing) with at least three years of post-qualification experience in school nursing, as well as experience in leading teams. A management/leadership qualification would be desirable.
