We have an exciting opportunity for an innovative and solution-focused health professional to join our Warwickshire School Health and Wellbeing Service, with a countywide remit.
Compass Warwickshire School Health & Wellbeing Service delivers key elements of the universal Healthy Child Programme to school-aged children (aged 5-19, or up to 25 with SEND) and their families. It is an accessible and confidential outcome-focused service that is dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Warwickshire.
About the role
As a Healthy Lifestyle Coordinator, you will facilitate, coordinate and oversee the delivery of the National Child Measurement Programme across the county. You will work alongside other priority agencies to develop and deliver sustainable care pathways and public health initiatives and campaigns that encompass lifestyle and physical activity.
You will provide leadership, advice and support to skill mix teams to enable the efficient and effective delivery of the School Health & Wellbeing Service.
You will be based out of one of our hubs in Rugby, Stratford or Nuneaton (depending on your preference) and you will work across the county. You will be required to work flexibly and creatively to best engage and meet the diverse health needs of the school-aged population.
Working hours Mon – Fri, 37 hours per week with some early evening and weekend working if the service demands.
You will have experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for promoting and delivering services focused on health improvement. You will have the ability to work independently and flexibly, with strong influencing, leadership and project management skills, together with an innovative approach to developing a range of resources and services to promote healthy lifestyles.
