The Family Brief Intervention Worker Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and solution-focused Family Brief Intervention Worker to join our dynamic and innovative team.
Compass Connect for Health is a high quality, accessible, outcome-focused school nursing service that delivers key elements of the universal Healthy Child Programme, with the aim of improving health and wellbeing and reducing health inequalities for school aged children and young people in Warwickshire.
The Family Brief Intervention Worker Role
The Family Brief Intervention Worker role is varied and includes the provision of age appropriate information and advice to children, young people and families, as well as delivering a range of evidence based brief interventions, specific to behaviour management, on a range of health and lifestyle related issues.
You will be based out of our Stratford hub and you will work from a number of age appropriate settings – schools, partner agencies, community and homes, working flexibly and creatively to best engage and meet the diverse health needs of those you serve. The working pattern is all year round.
You will have experience of working with children, young people and families and knowledge of relevant health promotion issues. You must possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive relationships, as well as being adept at maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.
You must possess a full UK driving licence and have access to your own transport.
