Do you have the experience and passion to ensure that we improve the lives of children and young people in Warwickshire?
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and solution-focused Community Engagement Worker within our Warwickshire School Health and Wellbeing service.
As a Community Engagement Worker, you will work closely with School Health and Wellbeing team to promote and actively engage communities with health and wellbeing strategies and support across the county. You will promote positive health and wellbeing for children, young people and families through empowerment and active participation. Using your engagement skills, you will build community capacity and help people develop the skills, knowledge and experience to make positive lifestyle changes.
You will support the facilitation and development of the Health Champions and Parent Health Champions, as well as attending community events to represent and promote the School Health and Wellbeing service.
You will be based out of one of our Warwickshire hubs – Rugby, Caldecote or Stratford, depending on your preference.
You are passionate about improving health and wellbeing and skilled in engaging groups and individuals by facilitating public health interventions with children, young people and communities. You are an effective communicator, with the ability to build positive relationships and actively engage vulnerable and harder to reach groups, such as Young Carers, those who are home educated, and NEETs.
You must possess a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Working hours 37 hours Mon – Fri, with some evening and weekend working, if the service demands.
