Tower Hamlets (Compass Safe East) Coronavirus (COVID-19) service update

In light of the current situation, Compass Safe East has had to make some service changes to ensure everyone’s safety. Our drop-in clinics are no longer operating, but we are still here to support your needs, and you will be able to access our service. We are happy nonetheless, to announce that face to face booked appointments, meetings as well as interventions and assessments with our Health and Wellbeing Practitioners have resumed. Please contact 020 3954 0091 to book your appointment.

How to get support

For the sexual health clinic please call 020 3954 0091 and ask for sexual health support. A nurse will then ask you some questions about your sexual health, to find out whether you need a face-to-face appointment at the Safe East Clinical Hub, emergency contraception or other support.

Unfortunately, we cannot see any young people at the Hub who have symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) or who are exposed to family members with symptoms, so you will also be asked questions about this.

For other support or advice from Compass Safe East, please get in contact through the following channels:

  • Young people can contact the service confidentially on 020 3954 0091.
  • If you need to speak to someone urgently, you can contact our Health and Wellbeing Practitioner on 07860 438 459
  • Partnered agencies can still send referrals to our secure email: or by requesting a call back on our website

The service is contactable Monday – Thursday 9:00am-5:00pm and Friday 9:00am-4:30pm.

If you have symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19), please follow the current NHS advice.
