Support for effective Relationships, Sex and Health Education in Warwickshire
Relationship, sex and health education is a fundamental building block for healthy and respectful relationships. Communicating this effectively to children and young people is essential for their development and emotional independence.
Connect for Health can support educators and professionals with their delivery of effective RSHE across Warwickshire by providing training, resources and guidance through the RSHE Network.
What is the RSHE Network?
The RSHE Network provides an exceptional opportunity for collaboration, sharing best practices, and gaining invaluable insights into local contexts to enhance student safeguarding within your curriculum. Through this network you will have access to regular local and national updates regarding RSHE, as well as topical training and support to help develop your roles.
This collaborative group of professionals is commissioned by Warwickshire County Council and hosted by Connect for Health’s RSHE Lead, Catherine Winton.
We extend invitations for this network not only to PSHE Leads/PD Leads, but also to DSL’s, ensuring a comprehensive whole-school approach to safeguarding. For non-school professionals, this network provides a unique opportunity to inform key decision-makers in schools about local issues that may necessitate referrals to your services.
