New Anxiety Workshop now available on the Changing Lives App

New Digital Workshop - Available Now (image of a young woman holding a phone - watching a video entitled "Understanding and Managing Anxiety")

Published on: March 5, 2025

Our new Anxiety Workshop is a self-guided webinar on worries, anxiety and ways young people can manage both.

In the webinar, we cover what anxiety is, its signs and possible causes. We look at ways anxiety can affect your thoughts, feelings, and even your body. Finally, we’ll suggest ways to manage anxiety, including practical exercises to try.

Young people can sign up to our service to receive help and gain access to our webinar today!

Here’s how they can do it:

  1. Download our app, or access the browser version here.
  2. Click “I need advice”, then “I want to access a workshop”
  3. Complete a quick and easy form to register your interest.
  4. We will send you a link giving you access to our full workshop.

The workshop video encourages participants to engage with interactive sections, pause whenever they need, and rewatch at their leisure.

The workshop was developed and narrated by some of our most senior clinicians, and includes real, meaningful support for anxiety inspired by our face to face practice.

This is the first of a series of self-guided webinars we are producing for our app. Future  webinars will cover a range of wellbeing topics for young people, parents and carers, and professionals.

We wanted to develop these digital workshops to make our support accessible to as many young people as possible by removing barriers to access. Now, young people can access real clinical support in an instant, without needing to arrange or wait for an appointment.

All of our interventions are private, confidential and with fully qualified and friendly practitioners. However, for young people who are self-conscious talking about their mental health, these interventions are a way that they can access help without feeling embarrassed, further expanding the young people we can reach.

We are so excited to roll out these new webinars, starting with this first workshop on Anxiety. Sign up today, give it a go, and let us know what you think!
