North Yorkshire School Mental Health and Wellbeing Service

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Specialist Administrator to join our new School Mental Health and Wellbeing Service in North Yorkshire.
The Compass North Yorkshire School Mental Health and Wellbeing Project will work with front line staff and key partners in schools across North Yorkshire to increase the skills, confidence and competence of staff to improve students’ mental health and wellbeing by delivering a rolling training programme, conducting an audit of each school’s needs, providing professional consultation and expert advice and guidance, coaching and mentoring front line staff and promoting ‘whole school approach’ and the Academic Resilience Programme.
The service will also deliver time limited structured one-to-one interventions and co-deliver targeted group work to children and young people between the ages 5 - 18 (25 with SEN) with mild to moderate mental health concerns.
The service will work closely with Compass REACH Risk Taking Behaviour Service as well as other key partner agencies via co-locations and outreach working to provide an equitable service throughout the county.
We are looking for a Specialist Administrator (Digital Engagement) with experience of working in a busy office environment and with skills in data analysis and digital engagement. As the new service will include digital engagement including the ChatHealth messaging service and a designated web portal, you should have knowledge and experience of using a range of technology to communicate effectively with service users/customers.
As this is a new service, you will be responsible for the setting up and the implementation of the office systems and ensuring they are appropriately maintained. You will be required to support the Team Leader to analyse service activity by providing accurate service level data from Compass’ management information system and local records. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of all office based systems and the general administration function which will include staff duty rotas, tiered training booking system, minute taking, data inputting and other admin duties.
The Specialist Administrator (Digital Engagement) will be a highly organised and self motivated individual with an interest in the delivery of health and social care and a commitment to providing excellent services across North Yorkshire.
The service covers the whole of North Yorkshire, with bases in the Craven, Harrogate, Selby, Hambleton and Richmondshire and Scarborough and Ryedale districts and the successful applicant may negotiate their base at interview stage.
