Sexual Health Week 2018, the national sexual health campaign which is organised by the Family Planning Association (FPA) will run from 24th –30th September.

The theme for this year is Consent: Yes, yes, yes!, a topic that underpins mostly all of the work that health professionals do around relationships, sexual health and wellbeing.  The campaign highlights that consent is about far more than saying ‘No’ to unwanted activity and more about listening, negotiating, and enthusiastically agreeing.

We are asking for everyone who would like to get involved in promoting the campaign to display the posters and an email banner produced by the FPA which can be downloaded here:

Safe East, Compass has planned a number of activities for young people across the borough to help raise awareness around consent.  These include participating in Fresher’s fairs at higher education institutions, delivering PSHE sessions in schools, and more informal activities in community settings such as our sexual health clinics, youth clubs, supported housing for young mums, etc. to encourage discussion around consent and what it means to them.  During this period, we have also taken the opportunity to promote our service more widely, provide advice and information around sexual health, signpost and increase our efforts in driving condom distribution, C-Card scheme registrations and STI testing.

Visit or call us on 0203 954 0091 to find out more information about sexual health services on offer for young people and how to get support.

Why not attend one of the session below, or see the attached flyer which details all our clinics.
