WARWICKSHIRE SCHOOL HEALTH AND WELLBEING SERVICE

On 2nd November 2015 Compass was excited to commence delivery of the Warwickshire School Health & Wellbeing Service (formerly known as the ‘School Nursing Service’). This confidential service is freely available for all school-aged children and young people aged 5 – 19 years (or 25 where there are special educational needs) and their families/carers.

The service is responsible for delivering key elements of the universal Healthy Child Programme leading, delivering and evaluating preventative services and universal public health programmes within both school and community settings including youth centres, children’s centres or at home.

Skill mix teams operate out of three administrative hubs situated in the North, East and South of the County and work flexibly across the County to best meet the needs of children, young people and families.
